About the position

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the sales operations within the company. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales team, analyzing sales data, developing strategies to improve sales performance, and ensuring that sales targets are met. The Sales Operations Manager will work closely with the sales, marketing, and finance teams to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Support Director of Sales Operations and Sales Team with Daily Tasks
  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient sales processes and workflows.
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain sales tools and CRM systems to ensure they meet the needs of the sales team.
  • Train the sales team on using sales tools and technologies effectively.
  • Utilize data to support strategic decision-making and sales strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing, distribution, accounting, compliance, and legal departments to align on strategies and achieve business goals.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and work to resolve them promptly and effectively.
  • Lead and manage sales-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support team growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain operations, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in sales tools and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Cannabis Industry Experience Required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Airtable preferred but not required.
  • Salesforce proficiency preferred but not required.
