About the position
Godiya Home Care Inc is seeking part-time State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) or Nurse Assistants to provide essential care to clients in their homes. The role involves assisting clients with personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and household tasks, all under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services. The company offers training for those without certification, making it an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and oral care.
- Assist clients with mobility, including transfers, ambulation, and exercises.
- Perform incontinent care, including the use of bedpans and catheter care.
- Assist clients with self-administered medications.
- Perform household tasks related to the client's medical needs, such as laundry and light housekeeping.
- Record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
- Maintain timely records of home visits and client care.
- Attend educational meetings as required.
- Perform other related functions as needed.
Requirements
- Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or willing to obtain certification through training provided by the company.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome; training is available for those without certification.
