About the position
Wise Medical Staffing is seeking State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to provide care in long-term care environments in Tallmadge, Ohio, and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible scheduling with the option for full-time, part-time, or per diem work, allowing you to choose your hours while delivering essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses.
Responsibilities
- Administer care in a long-term care environment under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Participate in the delivery and evaluation of patient care.
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients according to facility guidelines.
- Familiarize with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the nursing field.
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Perform a variety of tasks and work under general supervision.
Requirements
- Must have a valid State Tested Nursing Assistant license in Ohio.
- Minimum 1 year of long-term health care experience.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Word Processing and Spreadsheets.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Physically able to perform nursing duties.
- Must clear background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
