About the position
As a Stock Associate at Hudson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our stock area is well-managed and organized. This position is essential for maintaining the flow of merchandise in our stores, particularly at the bustling Harry Reid International Airport. You will be responsible for a variety of general stock duties, including picking orders, pricing products, and loading and unloading trucks. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success of our operations. In this role, you will be expected to provide flexibility and open availability to work any shift, any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $17.08 per hour, along with a range of benefits designed to support your personal and professional growth. Your responsibilities will include protecting all company assets in the stock area, providing a safe and clean environment for stock personnel, and managing stock orders as required. You will be tasked with counting and receiving incoming merchandise, reporting any shortages or overages to management in a timely manner, and completing all necessary paperwork for merchandise returns to vendors. Additionally, you will assist in the organization of merchandise for annual inventory and help maintain the cleanliness of the stock area.
Responsibilities
- Protects all company assets in the stock area including non-stock merchandise
- Provides a safe and clean environment for stock personnel
- Places stock orders as required
- Counts and receives incoming merchandise; reports shortages/overages to management in a timely manner, before required deadlines
- Counts and completes all appropriate paperwork for merchandise returns to vendors
- Receives freight, loads, and unloads trucks
- Provides ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor
- Isolates, sorts, and organizes all damaged and outdated products for subsequent supplier credits and returns
- Organizes all merchandise for annual inventory
- Assists in inventory and reconciliation of inventory variances
- Notify management of out of stock merchandise
- Assist in stocking of stores and backrooms
- Assist in trash removal and recycling
Requirements
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Good time-management skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift 60lbs
- Ability to work in environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Previous stockroom or warehouse experience
