About the position
The Stock Clerk in Distribution and Logistics at UNC Health Care is responsible for receiving, ordering, inventorying, storing, and issuing various items such as food, drugs, equipment, and chemicals throughout the facility and off-site locations. This role supports both patient and non-patient care areas and is assigned to various departments within UNC Hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Assists with patient and other transportation as requested
- Loads and unloads supplies, packs and unpacks items to be stocked
- Maintains invoices and other records
- Maintains storage areas in safe, neat and clean condition
- Receives, orders, inventories, stores and distributes supplies
- User consultation—meets with users to fulfill needs.
Requirements
- Valid NC Driver's license if a driver is required
- No prior experience required
