About The Position

The Stock Control Associate in Shipping at Mouser Electronics is a vital role that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The associate will perform key responsibilities based on assigned job functions, which include adhering to established quality and accuracy standards, maintaining acceptable attendance, and demonstrating a positive team-oriented demeanor. Regular attendance is essential, and the associate must be punctual and reliable, as these are critical components of the job. In this role, the Stock Control Associate will actively contribute to the success of the warehouse team by embracing additional duties as required and assisting the department as a whole. Cross-training in other areas is encouraged to enhance versatility and support team dynamics. Safety is paramount, and the associate must ensure a safe working environment by following established safety protocols and reporting any hazards to management. Effective interaction with individuals and groups both inside and outside the organization is also a key aspect of this position. The primary responsibilities include pulling parts from bins or shelving, verifying parts for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials, printing packing slips and labels, and ensuring that orders are packaged to prevent damage. The associate will also be responsible for shipping products using the Warehouse Control System. This position may involve working in specialized zones such as Value Added (VA) shipping, HAZMAT shipping, or bulk shipping, depending on the specific requirements of the job. The Stock Control Associate is expected to maintain a professional demeanor, support the company's total quality process, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. This role is considered entry-level, with opportunities for advancement based on performance metrics such as error rates and productivity goals.
