About the position

The Stock Room Clerk at Bon Secours Community Healthy Food Pantry plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the food pantry. This position involves maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the pantry, assisting with food distribution, and providing exceptional service to clients. The role is part-time and requires flexibility to work on designated service days.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the food pantry is properly stocked and organized before each service day.
• Clean and restock pantry items on non-service days.
• Build pallets at Operation Blessing with volunteers to ensure proper selections of food items.
• Conduct checks on food donations for expiration dates.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of freezers and coolers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service or related work experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.
