About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are stocked, organized, and readily available for customers. This role is crucial in maintaining inventory levels and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with products in an organized manner, ensuring that items are faced forward and easily accessible.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
• Assist in inventory control by monitoring product quantities and reporting discrepancies.
• Handle cash register duties as needed, providing accurate transactions for customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries about products.
• Package products for display or sale, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for customer interaction.
• Proficiency in cash register operations is preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly stockroom and sales area.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices is beneficial.
• Familiarity with produce handling and storage is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
