Stockhandler - 2nd Shift

About the position

The Stockhandler position at Woodward involves managing inventory and supporting the manufacturing floor by ensuring the availability of parts and kits necessary for production. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of operations within the facility, particularly on the 2nd shift at the Loves Park Campus in Loves Park, IL. The position emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and the use of an ERP system to manage inventory efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Effectively use the ERP system to perform various computer transactions to locate, move, and adjust inventory.
• Stand, physically move, lift or carry materials, and push carts, racks, or cages to transport materials within the facility.
• Interact with team members and internal customers regularly throughout the day.
• Continuously communicate and comprehend verbal and written correspondence to assist internal customers.
• Work with numbers to perform verification and matching of critical data.
• Count parts, perform cycle counting, and carry out addition, subtraction, and division calculations.
• Use reasoning and historical data to troubleshoot inventory inconsistencies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.
• Good with numbers, including verifying numbers, counting, and basic math skills.
• Ability to comply with ITAR and EAR regulations, requiring U.S. person status.
