About the position
The Stocking Team Supervisor at Walmart is responsible for overseeing the stocking associates who focus on unloading trucks and stocking new freight. This role requires physical strength and the ability to operate heavy machinery, ensuring that the backroom operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise stocking associates and manage daily operations in the backroom.
- Ensure efficient unloading of trucks and stocking of new freight.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels in the backroom.
- Train and develop team members on proper stocking procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds.
- Experience in a supervisory role or similar position.
- Familiarity with operating heavy machinery such as forklifts.
