About the position

The Storage Operator position at ONEOK involves performing activities related to the operation and maintenance of storage facilities. This role requires working in a rotating shift environment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of storage field equipment, and adhering to safety and environmental protocols. The operator will be responsible for monitoring equipment, performing quality assurance, and maintaining the facility's appearance while responding to any hazardous conditions that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Perform rotating shift work at storage facility.
• Operate and maintain storage field equipment.
• Conduct measurement activities and gauging tanks.
• Change charts and blow drips as necessary.
• Maintain facility appearance and perform quality assurance/quality control.
• Operate engines and gas compressors, as well as gas dehydration equipment.
• Monitor pressure and check operation of equipment.
• Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles.
• Read, record, prepare, and process information from charts, dials, gauges, and controls.
• Respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions.

Requirements

• Training and experience in company and governmental operating/safety procedures.
• Experience in gas system/liquid pipeline maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of storage well injection and withdrawal processes.
• Familiarity with construction and maintenance activities.
• Ability to operate and maintain underground storage facilities.
• Basic arithmetic skills for operational tasks.
