About the position

ClearHome Self Storage, a rapidly expanding leader in the storage industry, is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee operations at our Collierville, TN location. As the face of ClearHome, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the highest standards of property management. This full-time position offers a base pay rate of $16 per hour, along with monthly bonuses based on performance. You will be expected to work approximately 36-40 hours per week, with Saturdays required. In this role, you will effectively utilize technological tools to manage daily store operations from open to close, increase occupancy by renting units, and support customers through the leasing process. You will meet sales objectives by developing a thorough understanding of company products and matching those products to customer needs. Additionally, you will provide professional and swift resolution to customer inquiries and concerns, assist customers in determining the best ways to protect their personal belongings, and help customers avoid delinquency by processing payments and making collection calls when necessary. Your responsibilities will also include developing a deep knowledge of the facility, reporting necessary repairs, conducting daily visual inspections, executing light maintenance, managing the auction process, and preparing various reports as required. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the storage facility.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and drive sales.
  • Utilize technological tools to manage store operations.
  • Increase occupancy by renting units and supporting customers through the leasing process.
  • Meet sales objectives by understanding company products and matching them to customer needs.
  • Provide professional resolution to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist customers in avoiding delinquency by processing payments and making collection calls.
  • Conduct daily visual inspections of the property and report necessary repairs.
  • Execute light maintenance to maintain curb appeal and prepare storage units for rent.
  • Manage the auction process and prepare units for auction as required by local laws.
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, with at least 1 year in retail sales.
  • Prior experience in property management is advantageous but not required.
  • Proficiency in computer and smartphone/tablet usage is essential.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage time effectively.
