The Store Assistant at Petroglyph Ceramic Lounge is a temporary, seasonal role focused on providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant and creative pottery studio environment. The position involves assisting customers with their artistic pursuits, maintaining a clean and organized studio, and performing cashier duties. The role requires weekend availability and a commitment to fostering a positive atmosphere for both customers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide the ultimate positive customer service experience.
- Assist in painted piece backroom procedures.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually inspirational studio.
- Perform cashiering duties.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ to apply.
- Minimum one year in a retail or restaurant environment.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Multi-tasking capabilities.
- Organized and communicative.
- Professionalism in presentation and speech.
- Skills in operating a POS system.
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English.
- Basic math ability.
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs and work shifts while standing and walking.
