About the position

The Retail Sales Associate position at Game X Change involves providing excellent customer service in the purchase and sale of various new and used goods. The role is part-time and requires strong communication skills to create a welcoming environment for customers while managing store operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers' questions about specific products/services
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store
• Ensure the quality and usability of products being sold to the store

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of some of the various products that we sell (Video Games/Consoles, Movies, Comics/Manga, Vinyls, TV's, Guitars, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school degree
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• A reliable form of transportation
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
