About the position

The Store Associate position at Salon Services PRO is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service and supporting store operations. The associate will engage with customers, assist with merchandising, and handle point-of-sale transactions, all while contributing to a welcoming and efficient shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support incoming customers with a high level of customer service aiming for zero complaints.
• Engage customers to make them feel welcome and comfortable in the store.
• Contribute to sales and inventory goals through product promotion and excellent customer service.
• Conduct outbound communications with customers, including calls and thank you notes.
• Maintain current knowledge of products and promotions to assist customers effectively.
• Assemble and disassemble merchandise and promotional displays in a timely manner.
• Manage and maintain stock in the store.
• Ensure a clean and presentable environment for customers.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions with a positive attitude.
• Comfortable with the use of computers.
• Ability to work with numbers and apply basic mathematical concepts.
• Ability to stand and/or sit continuously for a full shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
