Responsibilities

  • Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and demonstrating compassion in all interactions.
  • Focusing on the customer by giving a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and assisting with locating items.
  • Accurately performing cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies.
  • Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information as directed by the store manager.
  • Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
  • Providing customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
  • Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth opportunities.
  • Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age.
  • Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently.
  • Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal and reading.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
