About the position
The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment. Responsibilities
- Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues.
- Greeting customers warmly and assisting them in locating items.
- Accurately performing cashier duties, including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
- Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
- Providing customer support across all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
- Assisting pharmacy personnel and working regular shifts in the pharmacy for career development opportunities.
- Advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
