About the position
JT's Wash & Mart is seeking a part-time Store Attendant/Cashier to manage store operations, assist customers, and maintain inventory. The role involves working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with a starting pay of $14.40 per hour. The position requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, along with the ability to complete a responsible beverage course and obtain a liquor license shortly after hiring.
Responsibilities
- Running the store register and ringing up customers
- Creating point of sale signs and running promotions
- Stocking inventory
- Becoming knowledgeable about all store products
- Completing all store daily work tasks
- Light cleaning of the store and laundromat
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Good previous employer references with contact numbers
- No felony or criminal record that substantially relates to this type of employment
- Ability to complete a responsible beverage course and obtain a liquor license within 7 business days of being hired
- Retail experience is a plus
- Ability to perform simple math and calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Outgoing and courteous to customers, staff, and management
- Honest, trustworthy, hard-working, and punctual
