Responsibilities

  • Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
  • Assist other NAPA team members with customer inquiries using your parts knowledge.
  • Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who enters the NAPA Store.
  • Engage retail customers to provide a positive consumer experience.
  • Utilize technology, including computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalog systems, to assist customers.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn about auto parts.
  • High School Diploma or GED; Technical or Trade school courses or degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background and/or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
  • Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, or auto body/collision.
  • Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
  • ASE Certifications.
