About the position

The Store D Manager at Circle K is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing a team of employees. This role involves recruiting, training, and developing staff, maintaining store standards, and managing financial performance. The manager will also foster positive relationships with suppliers and the community while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the activities of 2 or more full-time employees including Assistant Managers and Customer Service Representatives.
• Recruit, hire, and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop and assign tasks to maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Schedule employees according to company guidelines and business needs.
• Implement non-discriminatory management skills in hiring, training, and mentoring employees.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints.
• Prepare performance appraisals in Workday and provide feedback to employees.
• Train employees on customer service, store image, and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with all employees and establish regular meetings.
• Evaluate and develop action plans to meet store objectives.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of retail work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to supervise and train employees on equipment and tools.
• Ability to use a computer for reports and inventory control.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Open availability for scheduling.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Workday software.
• Food Server certificate (e.g., ServSafe) and Food Safety Management certification.
