The Store Director at Saks OFF 5TH is responsible for leading the store team to achieve company objectives and metrics while managing resources efficiently to maximize productivity and profit. Responsibilities

• Motivate store teams to achieve company objectives and metrics.
• Manage resources efficiently to drive business and maximize productivity and profit.
• Represent brand standards in selling, service, and merchandising.
• Promote the company's culture, values, and mission.
• Ensure proper security procedures are followed.
• Identify issues and create strategies to remain competitive in the local retail market.
• Problem solve in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Monitor and communicate competitive strategies through market observations.
• Ensure merchandise is well presented on the floor according to standards.
• Partner with Corporate and RVP to ensure merchandise assortment meets customer needs.
• Recruit, interview, and select candidates with requisite skills.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent.
• 5 - 10 years of store management experience with a proven track record of managing a selling workforce and achieving results.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong merchandising skills.
