About the position

Grocery Outlet Inc. is seeking experienced grocery and retail managers who possess a deep understanding of store operations to independently run a Grocery Outlet location. This role is designed for individuals who are ready to transition from management to ownership, allowing them to operate their own Grocery Outlet store and share in the profits generated by their location. As a Grocery Outlet operator, you will be responsible for the complete management of your store, which includes making strong decisions regarding ordering, merchandising, staffing, and overall store operations. You will have the autonomy to create staffing models, hire, train, and retain employees, ensuring that your team is well-equipped to meet the needs of your customers. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you will utilize an existing distribution channel to customize your product offerings to better serve your community. Building local organization partnerships will be essential in making a positive impact within your community. This position requires a strong drive and motivation, as you will be the ambassador for Grocery Outlet, representing the brand and its values in your store. Responsibilities

  • Independently run a Grocery Outlet location.

Requirements

  • 4 years of retail management experience.
  • Experience overseeing a large team including hiring and training.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical with the ability to think quickly.
  • Extremely results-oriented and a creative problem-solver.
  • Experience with merchandising displays.
  • Interest in autonomy and making independent decisions for the retail store.
  • Open to relocation.
