About the position
The Store Driver position is an entry-level role responsible for delivering automotive parts to commercial customers and assisting with inventory processes in the store. This role requires fleet safety certification and can be part-time or full-time. The Store Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and maintaining store cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
- Pick and stage parts for customer orders
- Pick up returns and cores
- Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyer
- Daily collection of credit accounts
- Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
- General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Fleet safety certification
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Friendly communication skills
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Experience operating inventory systems and store equipment
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
