About the position
The Store Driver position is an entry-level role responsible for delivering automotive parts to commercial customers and assisting with inventory processes in the store. This part-time or full-time position requires fleet safety certification and involves both driving and store maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
- Pick and stage parts for customer orders
- Pick up returns and cores
- Drop off weekly / monthly sales flyer
- Daily collection of credit accounts
- Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
- General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Fleet safety certification required
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Friendly communication skills
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Experience operating inventory systems and store equipment
Nice-to-haves
- Automotive parts experience is preferred
