This role involves advanced identification, troubleshooting, and project assistance for DIY customers, and it is a full-time position with driving preferred. The Commercial Parts Pro is similar to the Retail Parts Pro but supports both DIY and DIFM customers. This role also requires expert knowledge and the ability to source parts from various locations. It is a full-time position with driving preferred. Lastly, the Manager in Training (MIT) is a professional-level sales and entry-level management position. This role supports both basic and advanced functions in the store and is designed to prepare individuals for a General Manager role. The MIT position is full-time and requires flexibility to accept open roles based on business needs. Candidates should have a strong understanding of store systems and inventory processes, and driving is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver parts to commercial customers as a Store Driver.
- Support DIY business and achieve sales objectives as a Salesperson.
- Assist customers with advanced identification and troubleshooting as a Retail Parts Pro.
- Provide project assistance for DIY/DIFM customers as a Commercial Parts Pro.
- Maintain company standards around operating and product processes as a Manager in Training.
Requirements
- Must be able to drive and pass Advance's driving certification requirements for Store Driver.
- Good knowledge of store systems and basic automotive knowledge for Salesperson.
- Expert knowledge of store systems and advanced automotive knowledge for Retail Parts Pro and Commercial Parts Pro.
- Ability to source parts from various suppliers for all positions.
- In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes for all positions.
