About the position

The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering a positive store culture and supporting Team Members at Fleet Farm. This position focuses on recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining employee engagement through various initiatives. The coordinator will also manage HR-related inquiries and assist with timekeeping, benefits, and records management, ensuring a supportive environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Human Resources & Training Manager and store management to coordinate Team Member engagement and recognition events.
  • Support store with recruitment and onboarding of new Team Members.
  • Promptly respond to or redirect internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
  • Assist with HRIS transactions, including processing employee job changes, hires, and terminations.
  • Track and administer HR programs, including employee service awards.
  • Maintain daily record integrity of HRIS systems, including team member files and document scanning.
  • Manage the time and attendance process to ensure accurate recording and scheduling of Team Members' time.
  • Lead the store's ACT Team and engagement activities to promote a positive work environment.
  • Work on various projects in support of team objectives as assigned.
  • Promote Fleet Farm customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or equivalent degree or work experience is preferred.
  • 2 or more years of HR experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Experience with UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions, or Kronos Workforce Central is preferred.
