About the position

Warby Parker is seeking a motivated Store Leader to establish and lead a new retail store, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences. This role involves building and managing a team of service-oriented professionals while driving the store's financial performance and embodying the company's values.

Responsibilities

• Represent and communicate Warby Parker's values and philosophy to customers and team members.
• Execute and improve all operational activities to meet the store's financial targets and customer experience goals.
• Consistently follow company-wide processes to maintain brand consistency.
• Manage daily scheduling and payroll for the entire store team.
• Coordinate store events with the Marketing team.
• Implement existing procedures and create new ones to protect the company's inventory and assets.
• Follow and enforce protocols to ensure risk management and safety.
• Build and foster an engaged, effective team through recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training and development.
• Lead biannual performance and development reviews for each store team member.
• Create an inclusive workplace culture by treating all teammates and customers with respect.
• Attend company leadership trainings, including the annual Store Leader Summit.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a management role at a customer-focused, operationally excellent retailer.
• Proven ability to build, coach, and retain a high-performing team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to make tough decisions.
• Organizational skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Collaborative and upbeat personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Resourceful problem-solver and innovative thinker.
• Curiosity and willingness to improve processes.
• Ability to inspire the team with a compelling vision and purpose.
