About the position

The Store Manager at OAK + FORT is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the store, including client service, sales, visual merchandising, and team management. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the store meets its sales goals while providing an exceptional customer experience and maintaining adherence to company standards and culture. The Store Manager will also play a key role in staff development and operational excellence, driving profitability and compliance with company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client service and sales functions of the store.
  • Ensure adherence to store and district goals and operational excellence.
  • Build and manage client relationships through a client database.
  • Provide exceptional client experience by executing OAK+FORT Sales Culture.
  • Drive sales through OAK+FORT eCommerce and social media platforms.
  • Source and hire top candidates to build a high-performing team.
  • Train and develop staff to maximize productivity and performance.
  • Create weekly schedules to maximize sales and ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Oversee stock room organization and ensure accurate shipping and receiving of merchandise.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store environment.

Requirements

  • Retail leadership experience in a similar volume location.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage P&L.
  • Ability to communicate and coach effectively.
  • Adaptable and resourceful with a focus on people development.
  • Ability to influence and drive results through others.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in visual merchandising.
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and market prices.
