About the position

The Store Manager/General Manager at The Salty is responsible for overseeing all operations within the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining product quality, and driving business performance. This role requires a balance between advocating for employees and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to profit and loss, customer satisfaction, and sales growth. The manager leads a team, ensuring that both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations run smoothly, while fostering a positive work environment and upholding the company's core values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all store operations, including FOH and BOH management.
• Drive business KPIs such as P&L results, customer sentiment, and sales growth.
• Ensure exceptional product quality and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Lead, inspire, and communicate effectively with the team.
• Manage hiring, training, and scheduling of team members.
• Develop team members through training and performance reviews.
• Maintain a positive customer service environment and address customer concerns.
• Handle administrative responsibilities including scheduling, inventory, and cash management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain certifications.

Requirements

• 4+ years of management experience in hospitality or food & beverage.
• Experience managing and developing teams of 10+ members per shift.
• Food Safety Certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong understanding of P&L, COGS, and financial planning.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse staff interactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
