About the position

The Store Manager at our Cedarville location is responsible for effective management and ensuring the profitability of the store. This role involves leading a team to provide superior customer service, managing store operations, and maintaining product inventory. The position offers opportunities for personal and professional growth within a supportive company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide work direction to all team members at the store.
  • Demonstrate leadership in resolving customer concerns.
  • Ensure all customers are greeted and assisted in the store and at the pumps.
  • Process cash and credit card payments for fuel, merchandise, food, beverages, and lottery tickets.
  • Prepare bank deposits.
  • Create the schedule for team members.
  • Maintain product inventory and work to reach goals for inventory reduction.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
  • Organizational and management skills to effectively impact store operations.
  • Strong sense of what it takes to provide great customer service with a smile.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience using a computer and good basic math skills.
  • High school diploma or GED; progressing toward or completion of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • 5 years of related retail experience.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach during your shift, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
