About the position

The Store Manager at Dolce & Gabbana's Houston Galleria Boutique is responsible for achieving business objectives, delivering exceptional client service, and managing store operations efficiently. This role requires strategic planning, talent development, and the promotion of the brand's values and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales and service standards are consistently met by the leadership team and store employees.
  • Drive store sales and productivity through strategic sales planning and KPI management.
  • Conduct business analysis and implement action plans in collaboration with the Regional Director.
  • Execute company and regional strategic initiatives, policies, and procedures flawlessly.
  • Demonstrate sales leadership by engaging with top clients and ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Lead the team in establishing client relationships and proposing local events and consignment.
  • Coach and ensure compliance with company initiatives and training programs.
  • Develop the team and manage employee performance through consistent communication and goal setting.
  • Motivate the sales team and lead by example on the sales floor.
  • Attract, recruit, and hire high-caliber talent, and ensure a branded onboarding experience.
  • Partner with Regional Director and HR for employee relations issues.
  • Oversee daily operations, including schedule management, payroll, inventory, cash management, and shipping and receiving.
  • Monitor store expenses and maintain the operating budget.
  • Oversee in-store after-sales operations and consignment program.
  • Support and maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor changeovers.
  • Analyze reporting and support stock levels through communication with key business departments.
  • Train and communicate current product knowledge to all associates.
  • Respond proactively to the competitive environment and identify future opportunities.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience, luxury experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful sales generation, building clientele, and employee development.
  • Results-driven and customer-focused.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Impeccable communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong leadership qualities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze business and take business-driving actions.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of a 40-hour work week.
  • Passion for the fashion industry.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS, CRM, and inventory management systems.
