About the position

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee all operations in a fast-paced retail environment. This role is crucial in supporting the company's mission by generating revenue for programs and services while providing job opportunities for individuals facing challenges. The Store Manager will lead a team, ensure excellent customer service, and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Key decision maker in improving operational processes and workflows.
• Manage store expense control and payroll to optimize business.
• Focus staff on Loss Prevention priorities and Safety Awareness.
• Follow company guidelines to foster a positive shopping experience.
• Train, develop, and manage a team of Associates and Assistant Managers.
• Make hiring decisions while following the company's hiring process.
• Manage and coach all associates on achieving sales goals with a focus on key metrics.
• Develop a culture of goal attainment focused on the company's mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Retail, logistics, warehouse, or light manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location.
