About The Position

The Store Manager Rx at CVS Health is a pivotal role responsible for leading a single retail unit to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional service. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Completion of all required training for current role within required timeframe.
  • Pharmacy Technician Licensure.
  • High school diploma or general equivalent education (GED).
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including early morning and evening shifts according to store needs; two closing shifts per week and four weekend shifts per month are required at a minimum.
  • Ability to lift and exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting.
  • Ability to stand and walk for an extended amount of time.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain a healthy talent pipeline, including oversight of front store and cross-trained colleague performance and development.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing to operate the store successfully by scheduling to demand and maintaining financial stewardship of store labor spending.
  • Improve store performance measures (sales, service, loyalty, shrink, compliance, etc.) by coaching colleagues and addressing barriers to operation.
  • Maintain a safe and high-quality working environment that complies with all regulatory and company standards.
  • Oversee timely and quality training of front store and cross-trained colleagues.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with all direct reports to track business goals and maintain team engagement.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with Rx DL, Pharmacy Manager, and other in-store teams to support a holistic total store staffing pipeline.
  • Partner with FS DL to establish store priorities, implement new initiatives, and engage all colleagues.
  • Act as an ambassador for CVS Health through professional behaviors and positive engagement within the community.
