About the position
The Store Manager at CEFCO Convenience Stores is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring profitability, managing expenses, and maintaining high performance standards. This role involves recruiting, training, and motivating staff while also focusing on merchandising and customer service in a clean and engaging environment. Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day operations of the store, including profits and controllable expenses.
- Handle daily paperwork and computer entries.
- Ensure shelves are stocked, attractive, and priced correctly.
- Recruit, hire, and train all store personnel.
- Motivate and challenge employees to perform at their best.
- Provide coaching and development for team members.
- Maintain performance standards across the store.
Requirements
- 2-3 years' management experience in a convenience store, retail store, or fast food/restaurant operation.
- Experience with budgets and P&Ls is a plus.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Desire to build, lead, inspire, and grow a team.
