About the position

The Store Manager at lululemon is responsible for leading the retail store's performance, ensuring a world-class guest experience, and fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. This role involves hiring, developing, and managing a diverse team while driving operational excellence and community engagement. The Store Manager is accountable for achieving key performance metrics and creating an environment where both team members and guests feel valued and connected.

Responsibilities

  • Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment and culture.
  • Establish a vision for the store based on key metrics and initiatives.
  • Manage the store's hiring strategy to build a strong and diverse team.
  • Support ongoing learning and development of all team members.
  • Address employee concerns and issues appropriately.
  • Lead an exceptional guest experience through feedback and coaching.
  • Manage in-store team members to ensure optimal guest experience.
  • Address emergent issues, including guest escalations.
  • Establish and increase brand awareness in the community.
  • Plan and execute local community projects and initiatives.
  • Drive overall store visual merchandising and product strategy.
  • Manage sell-through by monitoring product levels and inventory counts.
  • Plan and execute high-level quarterly and seasonal planning for the store.
  • Manage whole store profit and loss (P&L) in accordance with goals.
  • Move dynamically and lead from the floor to assess business needs.
  • Understand and adhere to people safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 1 year of people management experience including recruiting and hiring.
  • 1 year managing business operations and administration in retail.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
  • 2 years of retail or sales specific management experience.
