About the position

The Store Manager at TeaN'ergy Tea2Go is a dynamic leadership role focused on managing daily operations, enhancing customer service, and driving sales performance at the new Austin Airport retail center. This position offers hands-on experience in management and beverage preparation, with a strong emphasis on team development and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily operations, including cash handling and inventory control.
  • Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and support sales efforts.
  • Participate in employee orientation and training programs to foster a productive work environment.
  • Support the recruitment process by identifying potential candidates and assisting with interviews.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving sales performance and customer retention.
  • Help manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is maintained efficiently.
  • Take part in various projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction and marketing.
  • Become expert in making and serving TeaN'ergy Tea2Go drinks and tea products.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for connecting with others.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
  • Previous experience in sales, retail or food service is required.
  • Certified food manager/handler certification required within 30 days.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to learn about various aspects of business operations, including recruiting and employee development.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and decision-making.
