About the position

The Store Manager at Claire's is responsible for driving sales and achieving store targets while ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth store operations. This role involves team leadership, including recruiting, training, and managing staff, as well as maintaining commerciality through effective merchandising. The Store Manager will also receive training in ear piercing, enhancing the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieving store targets through driving sales and profit.
• Delivering the finest level of customer service.
• Keeping the store running smoothly and efficiently.
• Ensuring the store is well merchandised and commercially correct.
• Recruiting, training, managing, and providing direction to the team.
• Analyzing sales reports and strategically problem-solving.
• Operating the POS system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 to 2 years of retail management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to analyze sales reports and problem-solve strategically.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing ladders.
