About the position
The Store Manager at NAPA is responsible for leading a retail store team, driving growth and profitability while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on operational excellence, including managing P&L, identifying new revenue opportunities, and maintaining store security and appearance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry and experience in retail management.
Responsibilities
- Identify new customers and revenue opportunities for the store
- Assist outside sales in developing and maintaining wholesale accounts
- Build, guide, and develop an engaged team to deliver high levels of customer care
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and procedures
- Protect and maintain the security of store assets
- Ensure the store is recognized for safety and appearance
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in store management
- Knowledge of inventory controls and stocking levels
- Strong customer focus and high energy
- Ability to operate a cash register and navigate computer systems
- Personal drive and self-motivation
Nice-to-haves
- Technical or Trade school courses or degree
- Background in the automotive industry or related fields
- Experience in parts store or retail management
- ASE Certifications
