About the position

As a Store Manager at Community Choice Financial, you will utilize your leadership skills to coach and develop your team, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee daily operations in the absence of the General Manager, focusing on account management, marketing strategies, and compliance to enhance store performance in a fast-paced environment. The role includes comprehensive training and development opportunities to advance your career.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, lead, and develop all store employees to obtain new business and increase store growth.
  • Identify local marketing strategies and business-to-business partnership opportunities to drive growth.
  • Enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations.
  • Supervise and maintain office security including cash management and loss prevention.
  • Examine, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and assess risk within established limits.
  • Participate in the selection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees.
  • Develop work schedules in accordance with budget, workloads, and store needs.
  • Handle complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism.
  • Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance and address basic facilities needs.
  • Work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
  • Minimum one year customer service, retail, and/or sales experience
  • Hands-on cash management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using phone system, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
  • Background check required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations
