About the position

As a Store Manager at Community Choice Financial, you will utilize your leadership skills to coach and develop your team, ensuring high-quality standards and exceptional customer experiences. You will oversee daily operations in the absence of the General Manager, drive store performance, and implement local marketing strategies to foster growth. Responsibilities

  • Coach, lead, and develop all store employees to obtain new business and increase store growth.
  • Identify local marketing strategies and participate in community events to drive revenue.
  • Enforce adherence to quality standards and local laws, conducting audits as necessary.
  • Supervise cash management and loss prevention, ensuring proper opening and closing procedures.
  • Evaluate and process loan/pawn applications, assessing risk within established limits.
  • Participate in the hiring and retention of new employees.
  • Develop work schedules based on budget and store needs.
  • Handle complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism.
  • Maintain store appearance and address facilities needs, including marketing displays.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of supervisory or relevant leadership experience
  • Minimum one year customer service, retail, and/or sales experience
  • Hands-on cash management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using phone systems, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
  • Background check required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to work with corporate teams during rotational training
  • Adaptability to shifting between store and corporate responsibilities
