We are currently seeking a Store Manager who will play a pivotal role in bringing our fandom to life. This position requires a dynamic leader who can drive the store towards achieving its objectives, particularly in sales targets, recruitment, development, and performance management. As a retail maverick, you will be equipped to handle any challenges that arise, all while fostering a culture of talent development and delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you will ensure that your store meets its sales plan and achieves comparable sales goals. While financial success is important, it is equally about creating a vibrant and engaging shopping experience. You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining a collaborative and passionate team to operate the store alongside you. As the leader, you will create excitement and customer engagement through social media, store web applications, and clienteling. Operational excellence is key; you will maintain a balance of organizational structure, delegation, and customer-first selling practices. You will monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors that may impact the business. Effective communication with retail leadership and HQ partners regarding trends and customer feedback will be essential. You will analyze sales reports and utilize data to inform your strategies for achieving sales targets. You will also be responsible for merchandising the store in an appealing manner, following planograms, and ensuring timely launches of promotions. As a mentor, you will build a bench of talented and passionate staff through recognition and constructive feedback. This role is not just about managing a store; it’s about leading a team to success while embodying the spirit of our brand and mission.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the store achieves the sales plan and/or comparable sales goals.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative and passionate team.
  • Create buzz and customer engagement through social media and clienteling.
  • Lead an operationally sound business with a focus on organizational structure and customer-first practices.
  • Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business.
  • Communicate collaboratively with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback.
  • Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy for hitting sales targets.
  • Adapt to new technologies and communicate company policies and procedures effectively.
  • Merchandise the store compellingly, leveraging planograms and launching promotions on time.
  • Build a bench of talented staff through mentorship, recognition, and feedback.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience.
  • Strong communication, recruiting, and operational skills (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; a degree is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing retail environment.
  • Open-minded and inquisitive about pop culture fandoms and trends.
  • Physical ability to navigate the store and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.70 to $30.90 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
