About the position

The Store Manager at Hawaii Petroleum is responsible for the efficient operation of the store, ensuring profitability while adhering to company policies and procedures. This role involves implementing company initiatives, managing staff, and promoting customer satisfaction through exceptional service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote and embody Minit Stop's Core Values and Fish! Practices.
• Train and coach store staff on customer engagement and rewards programs.
• Evaluate Secret Shopper reports and customer complaints, providing feedback to staff and management.
• Oversee Food Service operations to maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Ensure operational standards are met and exceeded, including Store Assessment Checklists evaluations.
• Participate in financial review meetings and analyze weekly/monthly reports.
• Manage controllable costs and work with the District Manager to meet financial goals.
• Implement safety policies and procedures, ensuring a secure working environment.
• Evaluate and direct store employees, conducting performance reviews and training.
• Comply with all company policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a management role, preferably in retail or operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and implement cost-saving measures.
• Knowledge of safety and health regulations in a retail environment.
