About the position

The Store Manager will lead the auto parts team in a retail environment, focusing on driving growth and profitability while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong leader who can manage P&L responsibilities, develop business initiatives, and foster a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities

• Identify new customers and revenue opportunities for the store
• Assist outside sales in developing and maintaining wholesale accounts
• Build, guide, and develop an engaged crew team to deliver high levels of customer care
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and procedures
• Protect and maintain the security of store assets
• Ensure the store is recognized for safety and appearance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Passion for delivering customer care and building long-term relationships
• Knowledge of inventory controls, stocking levels, and seasonal shifts is a plus
• Personal drive, self-motivation, and initiative to accomplish business goals
• Customer focus and high energy in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate a cash register and navigate computer and paper catalog systems

Nice-to-haves

• Technical or Trade school courses or degree
• Background and/or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision, or fast food/restaurant/convenience store management
• ASE Certifications
