About The Position

The position is for a leadership role within Blarney Castle, a family-owned retail C-Store operation in Michigan. The leader will be responsible for inspiring and developing a team, ensuring great customer experiences, and managing store operations effectively. This role requires a focus on team development, meeting store goals, and maintaining compliance with retail standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college credits preferred.
• At least five years of progressively responsible retail experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, relationship-building, and coaching skills.
• Strong technology skills and a drive for success.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the store team to achieve their best performance.
• Teach, coach, and develop team members, actively seeking future leaders.
• Work closely with Assistant Managers to select and develop talent.
• Manage store goals and metrics, ensuring compliance with retail operations.
• Build strong relationships with customers to enhance their experience.
• Participate in various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to understand the business better.
