About the position

The Store Manager at Hawaii Petroleum is responsible for the efficient operation of the store, ensuring it contributes to the company's profitability while adhering to company policies and procedures. This role involves implementing company initiatives, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high service standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote and embody Minit Stop's Core Values and Fish! Practices.
• Train and coach store staff on customer engagement and rewards programs.
• Evaluate Secret Shopper reports and customer complaints, providing feedback to staff and management.
• Oversee Food Service operations to maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Ensure operational standards are met and exceeded, including Store Assessment Checklists evaluations.
• Participate in financial review meetings and manage controllable costs.
• Implement safety policies and procedures, ensuring a secure working environment.
• Conduct semi-annual evaluations of store employees and manage hiring processes.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role in retail and/or foodservice.
• Ability to process information and merchandise through computer systems and POS registers.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers and customers.
• Basic math skills for documentation accuracy.
• Ability to operate all necessary store equipment.
