About the position

As a Store Manager at Claire's, you will be responsible for driving sales and achieving store targets while delivering exceptional customer service. You will oversee store operations, ensure effective merchandising, and lead a team by recruiting, training, and providing direction to achieve results. This role also includes responsibilities such as ear piercing, for which you will receive full training.

Responsibilities

• Achieving store targets through driving sales and profit.
• Delivering the finest level of customer service.
• Keeping the store running smoothly through effective operations management.
• Ensuring the store is well merchandised and commercially correct.
• Recruiting, training, managing, and providing direction to the team.
• Conducting ear piercing services after receiving training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 to 2 years of retail management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and basic computer skills.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem solve.
• Understanding of the importance of customer service.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• Ability to operate a POS system.
