About the position

The Store Manager at Lululemon is responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail store performance, ensuring a world-class guest experience while managing a diverse team. This role involves leadership, people management, and operational strategy to drive sales and foster a positive store culture. The Store Manager is accountable for hiring, developing staff, and creating an inclusive environment that aligns with the company's values and community engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment.
  • Establish a vision for the store based on key metrics and initiatives.
  • Manage the store's hiring strategy to build a strong and diverse team.
  • Support ongoing learning and development of all team members.
  • Address employee concerns and issues appropriately.
  • Lead an exceptional guest experience on the floor.
  • Manage and direct in-store team members for optimal guest experience.
  • Address emergent issues, including guest escalations.
  • Establish and increase brand awareness in the community.
  • Plan and execute local community projects and initiatives.
  • Drive overall store visual merchandising and product strategy.
  • Manage sell-through by monitoring product levels and inventory accuracy.
  • Plan and execute high-level quarterly and seasonal planning for the store.
  • Manage whole store profit and loss (P&L) in accordance with goals.
  • Move dynamically and lead from the floor to assess business needs.
  • Understand and adhere to people safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 1 year of people management experience including recruiting and hiring.
  • 1 year managing business operations and administration in retail.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
  • 2 years of retail or sales specific management experience.
