About the position

The Store Manager at Ashley is responsible for managing sales and margin in alignment with the company's financial plan. This role involves supervising, training, and developing retail sales associates while ensuring compliance with company policies to deliver an exceptional in-store experience. The Store Manager will lead the team to achieve sales goals, foster a positive work environment, and enhance customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and develop a team of sales associates.
• Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters high performance and low turnover.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
• Lead and direct the daily activities of store sales associates to meet sales and profit goals.
• Develop selling systems and standards aligned to company strategy.
• Conduct daily sales role playing and product education for all sales associates.
• Ensure standards are being followed by every associate in every part of the store.
• Foster a customer-centric culture throughout the store.
• Track and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in high customer satisfaction expectation positions such as sales, hospitality, and various retail environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
