About the position

As a Store Office Admin Support, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment, ensuring that customers feel welcome and valued during their visits. Your responsibilities will include treating customers and employees fairly and ethically, promoting an inclusive work environment, and being a responsible member of the community. You will be tasked with providing the right products at the right time, ensuring fair and accurate pricing, and demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. In this position, you will be responsible for creating an environment that enables customers to feel important and appreciated. This includes answering questions, resolving problems and concerns, and setting up cash drawers for front-end personnel. You will also reconcile individual cash drawers and the safe, ensuring that all record-keeping and documentation comply with company and federal standards, including Anti-Money Laundering regulations. Your role will involve transferring cash drawers from the safe to the front end, performing booth accounting procedures necessary for balancing the store, and receiving, counting, and verifying cash boxes of coin and media from the bank. Additionally, you will be responsible for counting and preparing cash and media deposits for the bank, operating various machines, computers, and terminals at the Service Desk, and keying in information to run various reports. Completing various accounting reports and forms accurately is essential, as is handling Western Union transactions and communicating effectively via telephone and public address systems. You will utilize the payroll system to encode and bundle checks for processing and will have the ability to order supplies using appropriate systems. Reinforcing safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identifying unsafe conditions will also be part of your duties. You will need to notify management of any customer or employee accidents and report all safety risks or illegal activities, including robbery, theft, or fraud. It is important that you can perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient with and the ability to learn new computer skills.
  • Understand basic math functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions.
  • Previous comparable experience in bookkeeping processes is desired.
