This role of Store Operations Specialist acts as a vital liaison between our home office and the field, providing support to over 1800 stores with operational issues and resolutions. The position requires collaboration across various functions including Store Support, HR, Asset Protection, Real Estate, Marketing, and Finance. The specialist will evaluate trends to understand their global impact and offer partner resolutions, ensuring that operational support is executed with a customer-focused lens. Attention to detail, pace, and speed are essential assets in this role, as the specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day support effectively. The Store Operations Specialist will balance multiple priorities while working with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions to store teams. This includes managing a regional inbox with approximately 40 emails per day, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address all store-specific issues promptly. The role also involves providing analysis to leadership to identify trends in the inbox for immediate resolution or feedback, as well as supporting field communication by drafting and approving messages in Zipline and managing resources in the Library. Additionally, the specialist will manage special projects and operational partnerships as needed, and oversee the outlook distribution lists for District Sales Leaders and Regional Assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Balance multiple priorities and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions to store teams.
  • Provide excellent communication (verbal/written) skills and ability to drive thinking in a hybrid setting.
  • Manage regional inboxes with approximately 40 emails per day, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving to support all store and store-specific issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide analysis to leadership to identify inbox trends for in-the-moment resolution or hindsight feedback.
  • Provide field communication support by drafting and approving messages in Zipline and managing uploads and upkeep of resources in the Library.
  • Manage special projects and operational partnerships as needed.
  • Manage outlook distribution lists for District Sales Leaders and Regional Assistants.

Requirements

  • Experience with influencing and collaborating with cross-functional groups, assessing store needs, and the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with all levels inside and outside the organization.
  • Proficient writing and proofreading skills, technical skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task large volumes of work, deliver under tight timelines, and demonstrate excellent time management; understands that speed is critical to success in a demanding environment.
  • Demonstrated track record in new concept development and process improvement.
  • Retail background, store selling, and operations experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel for store visits.
